Gaithersburg, MD – Sunday’s League of Women Voters Candidates Forum descended into chaos, as reported by Maryland Matters, when Neil Parrott, unable to handle scrutiny of his record in the State House, lost composure and became visibly aggressive towards April McClain Delaney. In a heated exchange, in which Neil Parrott took offense to advertisements that factually point out his record, Parrott attempted to intimidate McClain Delaney, even demanding she “be quiet” before storming off the stage, while McClain Delaney remained on stage, calling for civility.
On social media and in the eyes of former and current state officials, as well as Maryland voters, one thing became clear: Neil Parrott is unprepared to defend his voting record, unable to maintain his composure, and unfit to represent Maryland’s 6th District in Congress.
